How many Jews live in New Zealand and why are over 80 percent of them are not affiliated with any Jewish organisation? We will look into the current model of the Jewish communities in the country and try to see what works well and what does not. This presentation is based on the census,  academic papers about the community, the Bnei Brith-Auckland University survey, data from the different communities. As well as going into the facts, figures and data we will share our experiences in the last 3 years working as community Shlichim in New Zealand meeting and working with members of all synagogues, organisations and movements in the country.
