Many of the Jewish soldiers who fought for New Zealand survived and lived to achieve and contribute to their country. Some of these brave young men lost their their: hear of their stories. A list of brave Jewish men and women is held by the Auckland War Memorial Museum: including men who were killed or died in service; men who are on the Honours Board; men who came back and contributed throughout their lives to NZ.

Evelyn Jaffe is a long-standing member of the Auckland Community and a Volunteer at the Auckland War Memorial Museum. She has been approached by the Armoury to update the Cenotaph Database of Jewish men and women who served in both wars.
