Jill Gutmann recently arrived in Auckland with her husband, Rabbi Brent Gutmann, and daughter Daria. She holds a Masters degree in Jewish bioethics from Hebrew Union College (HUC) in Cincinnati and a Masters in Public Health from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Aside from her work as a bioethicist, Jill has a passion for cooking and Jewish food. This research on Jewish food evolved with the guidance of Dr. Michael Meyer and the fabulous collection of cookbooks available at the rare book room at HUC and the collection held in the HUC library in Cincinnati.
